Imagine you have someone who works for you who’s main talent is remembering everything and, somehow, is able to recall and combine all those memories into whatever you need. Images. Stories. Plans. Videos. This person can not only create just about anything you want, they can create several variation for you to choose from. Someone like that would be a dream for anyone who needs creativity on the fly.
This is of course the promise with A.I. Endless creativity for almost any need. But in the adults only industry, that “almost” happens to have a direct impact on the things we typically do. If you’ve been in the industry for a while, limitations are nothing new. We are always somewhat limited, simply by the nature of the business we’re in.
ChatGPT
A quick rundown of the places we have come up against the adult restrictions would include Chat GPT and similar tools, when trying to create text content, it simply won’t create anything about sex or use sexual terms in a way that is useful for adult content creators. Unless you’re creating clinical text about sex and sexuality, these tools are next to useless.
Microsoft Image Creator
Using A.I. tools for image or video creation presents the same sorts of limitations. For example, the image below was created using Microsoft’s free text to image tool. This is a pretty good example of just how far you can go with incorporating sexual imagery with A.l., which is to say, not very far. Although the image is sensual and flirtatious, that’s about the extent of what’s possible at the moment.
Not That Revolutionary
In the adult industry, we are presented with unique needs and opportunities. Remember what is important to your success in this industry. And let’s face it, most of what matters is based on being real. Real faces. Real action. Real sexuality. Real art. That’s always going to be what draws the customers and the traffic, which is what pays the bills.
From that point of view, A.I. is of little use to you. As we see it, it is not a tool to keep in your bag of tricks. At least not for creative purposes related to your adult content. In the end, the ability to be real and deliver real content is what you need.
It’s Becoming Reconizeable
After a while, A.I. generated content becomes recognizeable. You can see it in the imagery and you can hear it in the text. This is mostly because the tools are taught using the same images, videos and existing content from the public internet. They are not so much creating new content as they are mixing and recapitulating what already exists. The sameness begins to become appearent. And if you can see it and hear it, so can your users, and, so can Google. This won’t help you make your content more attractive to users, and it’s won’t help you accomplish any SEO goals you might have.
So How Can A.I. Help you?
Use it for the things other people do. Have A.I. come up with a good business plan for you, or design a marketing campaign that will out do your competitors. Or, maybe, use A.I. to help you find new opportunities you may not have thought of. As long as your needs do not involve porn or other adult content, there are many ways to use the tools available.
It’s Still Early
This industry is just now coming to life, and there will be much evolution in what can be done. For now, at OASysTech we have used these tools for more generic creativity with abstract imagery used in backgrounds, creating color palettes, there are some interesting ways A.I. has been added into the tools we use to create site architecture, just to name a few things.
We have yet to be blown away with anything. Sure there is some potential, but nothing has yet revolutionized how we build websites. We continue to play with the tools so we can stay up to date on the possibilities and the realities.
